Yes it was a pediatric dentist. I couldn't believe we'd have to wait a whole month-but same thing...he said swelling was too severe to see damage. He did an xray at one month and said it looked great. We've talked to more dentists from the valley and they've all said it is SO COMMON in their practice to see toddlers in their practice for teeth up in their gums following accidents. WHAT? Ugh, I felt like I was the only one who'd been through this with my baby. So there 'ya go-you're not alone and I can sympathize! My hubby took pictures after his accident but I still can't look at them. Youch.
