I haven't been here because...
it's the end of countdown week
They're leaving in a matter of days, the truck will be loaded on Monday
My house has been kissed by the pitter-patter of extra little feet
and
the laughter of extra little mouths
while momma and daddy pack up
their lives
to start a new one
My heart is bursting with
excitement for their journey
and
unshead tears for my journey
I'll be back when I can
I am sorry your friend is leaving. It is so hard. I had a very good friend who helped me so much during the first years of being a "triplet plus one" mommy and when she moved it was heartbreaking for us. We still talk often, but it so not the same as having her down the street! My prays are with you both at this time!
